If you are thinking of redecorating your bathroom, getting a new suite and new bathroom cabinets as well, you will probably need to think about replacing the existing tiles at some point.
But have you ever considered sticking with plain white tiles? There are lots of reasons for doing so, not least the fact that you can save a lot of money by buying plain white trade tiles. They are a lot cheaper than any other kind of tile, and you can still add a more expensive border of tiles into the mix as well if you want to jazz things up a bit.
There is also nothing quite like a gorgeous white bathroom with accents of colour dotted in here and there. You can also buy white bathroom cabinets to go with it, or else buy mirrored cabinets to make the room look slightly bigger and be useful as well. There are also plenty of other bathroom cabinets available in coloured finishes, so keep an eye out for these if you want to inject a bigger splash of colour.
Many people don’t even consider having plain white tiles because they look boring when you see them in the store. But they are fantastic as an option if you have a tight budget to stick to. Wouldn’t you rather get a slightly more appealing bathroom suite and cut down on the cost of your tiles instead? If they are put up properly – which isn’t too difficult to do yourself – they can look just as stunning as any other type of tiling. And since they have a nice shiny finish they can also increase the feel of depth in your bathroom.
As you can see it is very important not to write off this kind of tiling simply because it is cheap. It doesn’t mean it isn’t worth having, and if you are new to tiling you can relax a bit more when you know each tile is cheap. Imagine breaking one if you know they are several pounds each!
So if you have your eye on a brand new bathroom in the near future, don’t forget to give serious consideration to getting plain white tiles.
